Alex, There is something nice and silly about the character design here. I think the 'bean body' curtails a certain amount of gesture, but working more loosely, especially in the limbs, could still create more flexibility and a more fluid gesture. Ask yourself this: Why do the legs have to be stiff after the torso has been made so flexible ? Please read Section 1 of the Stanchfield book where he discusses solid and flexible parts of the figure. Also, consider the line of rhythm that will run through the entire form. I don't mind you investigating emotional states and motivations - just make sure you back it up with poses and gestures that amplify the motivation of the character.
All of your postures and positions seem to be doing the right concept, your character is cute.
