I'm with Joe - break the forms down to help with proportions and also help with adding form. Focus on getting the form down before you get too detailed elsewhere, even if it means drawing a mess of gelatinous body shapes (head, torso, and pelvic bone) all over your sketchbook. After doing so many of said shapes, they will come more naturally when you draw them under your more detailed figures.
I think your proportions might be kind of off. I would suggest breaking down the people into basic shapes first to help with that.
ReplyDeleteThe movement seems good, I really like the man with the pipe! Try and be a little more loose in your sketches, it'll help them flow better!
