Alex, The poses you are looking to are good - please keep this up - but try to find more dynamic poses, as well. 3 seated figures at a session where there were dozens of passers-by standing/leaning/walking/running/reaching/playing - you get the idea. As for the line, I don't get the sense you are putting it down on the page with a ton of confidence. Remember to stay loose - there is really no need for the drawing to actually resemble the literal contours of a subject. Feel free to work in basic forms, if you are attempting to capture a dynamic pose and consider the clothing as an element you will put on top after the basics are there. I will work with you in future sessions on this approach.
The fac in the first one looks very good with the slicked back hair and closed eyelids. Like Patrick said, I too studied sat figures for this assignment (big no no for this class) so let's both try and stay away from that! haha
