    As simplistic as these figures are, their poses are actually nice - there is a decent gesture to them.
    I think with time, you will get away from the need to block the forms out so much. You will also develop more of a fluid line from:
    A. Loosening up and drawing with your shoulder, elbow and wrist.
    B. Looking to create width variances in the limbs.
    C. Adding construction lines, when needed, to flesh out form and roundness.

    The proportional guide I gave you will become more internalized and the need to focus on that will be replaced by investigating the line of rhythm, clothes and extremities (face, hands, clothing, feet) of the subject.


    Keep looking to these types of poses, as well as ones where the characters are in a more extreme state of gesture or action.
