There is a nice sense of anatomy that is starting to be developed here! One element that is causing these poses to be flat is the symmetry. The middle and bottom figures have pretty symmetrical poses. The top one has a nice asymmetrical feel to it. Keep it up!
While the anatomy is getting better you need to work on the length arms and size, they throw off the drawing. The first figure is the best figure. Its an interesting pose and shows more movement. It also has the best anatomy.
Alex, These are much better. Your forms are getting better and the indication of hands make the drawings more solid and convincing. Try to work lightly and loosely, then stay committed to your forms and make more definitive marks. I want to see more lines in your drawings - not a scribbled mess but looser, lighter lines underneath these "finished" marks. The top drawing is definitely the strongest page in this session.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the first drawing being the best. Make that sketch as a goal for your next sketches in terms of movement.
